Private Landlords
It is the occupier of a property that is entitled to an insulation grant as they pay the fuel bills. As a private landlord or property management company, your only requirement is to give written permission prior to works being carried out. If your tenants are aged 70 or over, or they receive a qualifying benefit, you will not have to pay anything towards the cost of insulation.
